Arrive early morning and check in to your hotel. After a late breakfast start your day with a short walk in the old neighborhood known as Sange Siah (the black stone) and after that a visit to Hafiz Tomb, the most popular and known Persian ever poet in a spectacular garden. Having lunch in beautiful boutique hotel would be your next plan. You will have a relax afternoon and finally a banquet with homemade food and special welcoming will await you. Overnight Shiraz.

Day 1: Shiraz Arrival

The longest drive of your journey is in the beginning, from Shiraz to Ahvaz with short stops that one of them is Bishapur a city built by 35000 Romans in 3rd century A.D just near the Chogan Gorge. you will visit a magnificent water temple in this ruined city. 5 huge relieves reveal their own stories there, mainly stories of long lasting wars between two main powers of the world, Emperor of Persia and Cesar of Rome. Then you drive directly to Ahvaz where most of the oil sources of Iran are placed in there. Overnight Ahvaz.

Day 2: Shiraz to Ahvaz

Today you will visit 2 UNESCO heritage sites. First the incredible Ziggurat of Chogha Zanbil which was the main temple of the ruined city DurUntash dates back to 1250 B.C. Susa, one of the main cities of Ancient Persia is the second UNESCO heritage of the day. Daniel the Prophet tomb is last site before heading to Shushtar. Overnight Shushtar.

Day 3: Ahvaz-Susa-Shushtar

Shushtar, a small old town embraces one of the most stunning sites of Iran the water mills, will host you for one night. These huge watermills complex are made by another 35000 Romans by the order of Shapour the second, the great Persian emperor who defeated 3 Cesars of Rome during his reign. After visiting this eye-catching site and check out from your hotel, you will head the road and pass through a cool motorway with more than 30 km tunnels. Khoram Abad is good enough to have a stop and visit a well-structured fort called Falak-ol-Aflak. Then a 2-hour drive will take you to Kermanshah. Overnight Kermanshah.

Day 4: Shushtar to Kermanshah

After breakfast and check out you will visit one of the outstanding relives in all Sassanid Empire in 2 handmade caves telling stories of Royal banquets, gods and goddesses. These magnificent relives are carved in 4th century A.D. After visiting Taghe Bostan. Then we head toward Hamedan on the road visiting Bistoon where hold in itself the largest inscription of the Ancient world back to 520 B.C who Darius the great explains about the riots leaders he had war with, just next to this brilliant site a 16th century Caravanserai is placed to visit and have lunch. Then a 2-hour drive will take you to Hamedan. Overnight Hamedan.

Day 5: Kermanshah to Hamedan

Hamedan with the altitude of 1800 located in the vicinity of Alvand Mountain. Hamedan used to be called Ecbatana was one of the capitals of Medi and Acheamanid Empires. Science, Poetry, History, Nature and Culture are all combined together to keep Hamedan alive in all of the subjects. Avecina and Baba Taher Tombs, Historical site of Ecbatana and Mausoleum of Ester and Mordechai are all representatives of this cultural city. Ganj Name Waterfall is the last site to visit before sunset. Overnight Hamedan.

Day 6: Hamedan

Not far from Hamedan, on the road to Takab the second largest Watery-Caves of the world is located that you will enjoy boating there. Then the next stop will be Takhte Soleyman Fire Temple, one the three main fire temple of Ancient Persia was used by Kings and Generals mainly for royal coronation. Solomon Prison is the last stop before reaching Takab. Overnight Takab.

Day 7: Hamedan to Takab

After breakfast and check you will head the road to visit the largest Salt Lake of the world known as Urmia Salt Lake. This lake is home to many local birds and host to lots of groups of migrant birds mostly from Russia. After having lunch in a city called Bonab famous for its Kabab, Kandovan Village is not far from you where you are going to stay in a well-maid rocky hotel. Kandovan is a habitant village was built in the heart of strange cony rocks. Overnight Kandovan.

Day 8: Takab to Kandovan

After an early breakfast and lovely morning walk in the village, it’s time to leave Kandovan to go Tabriz. Tabriz is the largest city of the whole west and north of Iran. Most of the population are Turk and always speak Turkish as it their mother tongue unless it’s necessary to talk in Farsi. Tabriz as a city was flourished during the Islamic period and as it was built on a strategic location on the silk road developed much faster. Today you will be satisfied visiting the largest indoor traditional bazar of the world, the Grand Bazar, Jame Mosque, Blue Mosque and Iron Age Cemetery. Overnight Tabriz.

Day 9: Kandovan to Tabriz

Time to leave Tabriz to the border of Armenia where a gorgeous Monastery still standing after 1200 Years named after Saint Stephanou’s the first martyr of Christianity who was kill by Jews in Jerusalem. That’s one of the three UNESCO monastery heritages of Iran. On the way back visiting a small church built for shepherds next to Aras River bank. Your tour continuous by having lunch in another Abbasid’s period Caravanserai known as Asiab Kharabeh (the broken mill). Then driving back to Tabriz, get ready for next day tour. An optional visit to IL Goli Mansion for dinner is recommended. Overnight Tabriz.

Day 10: Tabriz to Jolfa to Tabriz

After being on the road for several days, you will be granted a quite relax day visiting only one site. In this day after check a 2-hour drive will take you to Ardabil, another city of Turks. In this beautiful city you will visit one of the most delightful tombs of an Iranian Shah after Islam. This eye-catching tomb used to be mansion and tomb of Sheikh Safi the ancestor of Abbasid dynasty and his son The Shah Ismail, founder of Abbasid dynasty in 15th century. This charming structure was registered as a UNESCO heritage site in 2010. Then a 40 minutes’ drive would be enough to be in Sarein a small town known for its spring hot waters. Free afternoon to relax and have bath in any of Hot Spring Pools. Overnight Sarein.

Day 11: Tabriz to Ardabil

After breakfast and check out you will leave Sarein toward Masuleh. To reach this beautiful village you need to pass through Alborz Mountain Rage and north forest, home to many species of Persian birds and Animals like Persian leopard and bear. On the way you will stop by Neor Lake to picnic and have lunch, then time to go to visit a fort on the top of the mountain used to be home to fairys and beasts. Qale Rood Khan the Sassanid fortress just erected on the highest summit of the mountain blocking any invasion by enemies. After hiking, there is only one-hour drive to Masuleh. Overnight Masuleh.

Day 12: Ardabil to Masuleh

In Masuleh, the buildings have been built on the mountain and are interconnected. Courtyards and roofs both serve as pedestrian. The spectacular architecture of Masuleh is popularly known as the yard of the building above is the roof of the building below. Yellow clay coats the exterior walls of most buildings. This allows better visibility in the fog. Walking in this village in the morning and having tea and coffee in small cozy shops would be an idea to enjoy being in such spectacular village. Then you will be back to the same road to get to Rasht, the creative city of food and cuisine. After visiting the Outdoor Grocery Bazar and have lunch and cookie as their souvenir, time to head the road while Caspian Sea is visible on your left side known as the biggest lake of universe with wonderful sand beaches. Day 13: Masuleh to Ramsar

Ramsar the favorite City of the Former Shah of Iran, The Reza Shah who used to spend most of his vacation with family there is incredible enough to host you for two nights. Ramsar is the place where mountain and forest get together would be considered as the most beautiful port of Iran. The Ramsar Shah Palace, Hot Mineral Water Bath and Javaher Deh Village on the top of Mountain are highlights of this lovely town. Overnight Ramsar.

Day 14: Ramsar

After check out in the morning we head toward Tehran through one of the most beautiful roads of Iran, the Chaloos Road. Your eyes will be pleased by the charm of mountains, forest and chained winding roads. There would be an option to go on the top of the mountain by Cable Cabin. Then we head toward Tehran to get ready to back home. Overnight Home.
