Visa

We       offer a free service in assisting you to obtain an Iran visa if you are a tourist on one of our tours. This fulfills the requirement for the tourist to have a supporting host. An Iran tourist visa is issued to foreign nationals traveling to Iran individually or with a group for a maximum stay of 30 days with the possibility of applying for extensions while in Iran.
Foreign visitors from specified countries and under certain conditions may be granted an Iran tourist visa on arrival at six nominated airports while it is also theoretically possible to obtain a 15 day tourist visa on entry for most others. However, this is an uncertain an unpredictable procedure while carries risk of refusal and is not recommended. Israelis will not be granted an Iran visa. Visitors from the USA, UK, and Canada may be issued a tourist visa but only if they are on a per-book, fully escorted, individual or group tour and the process may take longer.

Subject to the above, obtaining an Iran tourist visa is a two-step process:

1. Submitting personal, passport and tour information to us (see form below) which will be the basis of our application to the Iran Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran for approval and the grant of an authorization code of which we will notify you.

2. Shortly after receipt of his code, you will lodge an application for an Iran tourist visa at the Iran Embassy or Consulate in your country (application forms are usually available for download online). An application fee is levied by the Embassy or Consulate. You will have 30 days from grant of the tourist visa to enter Iran (the validity period). From your arrival date in Iran, your passport must have at least six months of remaining term left before it expires.

Such applications for the visa can be submitted by secure mail or in person if timing becomes important.
This process can be time consuming and the first step is delayed by the Iranian New Year (Nowruz) holidays in late March to early April. Usually though, from go to whoa, it takes weeks, but we will liaise with you on any timing issues depending on your tour commencement.

Tip: when in Iran, your hotel or other accommodations will ask for your passport on check-in. However, almost all are satisfied with a laminated color copy of the photo page of your passport on one side and your Iran visa on the other.
